BOK CENTER - CORPORATE SUITE
After Bank of Oklahoma signed the naming rights at the new Tulsa Arena, now known as the BOK Center, Matrix was given the opportunity to design the custom Corporate Suite. The purpose of the double sized suite was to hold corporate meetings and presentations, buffet dinners, and event entertainment. The suite was fitted with a custom island that included two hidden, yet mobile service carts, and a specialty beverage chiller. A beech wood soffit was added above the island to accent the specialty millwork as well as integrate the wood elements from the typical suite. Smaller details, such as frosting the corporate logo on to cabinet glass and inlaying a stainless steel logo into granite counter tops, helped to contribute to the suite's identity. Furniture was selected to reflect the overall style of the building and to enhance Pelli's original concept.
